Just some basic rules to help make your experience here more enjoyable. They should be taken along with the general rules for this board which can be found here
animeparadox.proboards20.com/index.cgi?board=laws&action=display&thread=1094823827
These rules will be updated as the need arises. If you have any comments/questions/critiques feel free to PM me about it. I'm always open to hearing what you all have to say.
1) Check the Sticky threads before making a new thread.
2) Check all other threads before making a new one. Your question/topic may have already been dealt with so there's no need to repeat.
3) Do not post out of topic with a thread, this inculdes the stickys.
4) Don't double post. Use the modify button if you have something to add, its there for a reason.
5) Emoticons are a privilege not a right. Don't be a dolt and use them excessively in your posts. 1-2 do the job.
6) Don't post just to raise your post count. Only add something if you have something to say.
7) Make your posts mean something. You don't need to write an essay with every post but at the same time don't just put one word replies.
8)Don't make threads about whatever thought about models enters your head.
9) Don't post or make threads to brag about what models you plan on getting or what you're planing on doing with them, etc, etc.
10) Try using some form of grammar/proper spelling with your posts. People won't take you seriously if you come across as a retarded 5 year old.
11) Do not use AOL speak/Netspeak/133t speak with your posts/topics. Not everyone knows what it means and most of the time it makes you look like a dork. This includes the use of "U" instead of "you", "cuz" instead of "because", "wuz" instead of "was" and especially "lol"
12)When asking a question, try to be a specific as possible with it so you can get the right answers ASAP.
13) Only give advice if you know what you're talking about. Don't try to pass yourself off as an expert to make yourself look better.
14) If you make a poll make sure it has something to do with your topic and MAKES SENSE.
15) Don't bother typing your name at the end of your posts. You name appears with the post so we all know who you are.
16) No flames/personal attacks. Constructive critisim is welcomed but there's no need to make it personal.
17) Treat people the way you want to be treated.
18) When posting pictures, try to link to the actual picture instead of linking to the website its on.
19) If posting large pictures, try posting only 2 and hyperlinking the rest. Remember not all have highspeed internet and large picutres can take forever on a 56k.
20) No Advertising of other message boards, RPGs or personal webpages.
21) If you ever have anything to add to a closed topic, Pm me and ask and I'll most likely reopen it so you can make your point.
22) Regarding the Stickys/magnetics - Take the time to read through the threads to make sure you're not repeating something already put there.
23) Have fun! B) This is Gundam models and not real life. It shouldn't be taken seriously and people shouldn't get worked up over these things.
