I just played a demo of this game and it isn't too bad. It doesn't deveate much from Federation vs. Zeon but they did bring some new stuff to the table. It was real fun playing with the Quleby and lauching a slew of funnels at my victims. ;D But outside of the new suits it seems that now you have some desperation Newtype abilites that you can choose from before you start your mission. You can choose Speed, Recover, and I think the third one ups your attack power. I can't quite remember. They have all the voices from the Calgary group as well. So you'll get to play as Four and hear her scitzo psycho babble as you're playing as her, which is ALWAYS fun to hear.
Anyways, anybody else looking forward to this game?

I am if it comes out in the UK. The only Gundam games on the market here are GBA1+2 and Fed vs Zeon, and I own Fed vs Zeon and GBA2.

I imported the japanese version and have been playing it for a while on Gamecube. So yeah the third one is attack... double attack power. They are called hyper combination the bar goes up with being hit, attacking, and teaming up with your teammate for an attack. Speed lasts the longest. Recover you lose a body part sometimes limiting attacks or transformation.
Playing as the Qubeley everytime has disapointed me the funnels aren't as good as you'd think and never move in after you launch them or you'll get shot by your own. Mesalla is also a big disapintment, it's fast but that's it. On the plus side Zeta, Shiki, Pallas Athena, Dijeh, etc. all are great. Psyco Gundam and Psyco Mark II aren't too much fun to play as they are too slow. The melee attacks are a significant visual difference over EF vs Zeon.
Transformation is ok... it's nothing really too special but can't excpect too much.
The Universal Century mode is nice to open up alternate routes allowing people to survive though sometimes it's a bit hard to figure out what to do to open alternate paths though some are obvious.
