Even though it's still going on as we speak has anything surprised, shocked, let you down or anything so far?
For me, I was somewhat surprised that Nintendo showed off the "revolution" and that it looks like an external DVD-burner.
The PS3 wasn't much of a shocker and the same goes for the 360(although I still think it looks too muhc like a PS2 for my tatse).
Anyone else have any thoughts?

yeah: - WTF is with that "Mini gamboy"?
- the next Zelda (now called twolight princess i think) looks amazing...
- PS3 and 360 looks like a POS (yeah, powerfull, and nice graphics, but hows the gameplay?)
- next nintendo looks a little wierd, but I'll reserve judgement without any stats to back it up yet.
- why does the next Gundam Game look better then the Gundam Anime?
those are just my opinions

WTF is with that "Mini gamboy"? Basically it is another marketing device for the kiddies. A representative of Nintendo USA was interviewed about it and he basically said that it is primarily targetted towards the 11-15 year olds that are still in school and want to easily carry them in their backpacks. In other words, Nintendo is selling this to kids so they can play it in the classrooms and get in trouble. I normally wouldn't have a problem with this but this SOB will probably run high on price above the $100 range. I'm also concerned alittle bit on wiether or not it has reverse compatablity with GBC and GB games. I seriously doubt it.

Game Boy Micro is a redesigned gba with a smaller backlit (as opposed to the SPs frontlit) screen. It will play anything the GBA can.
PS3 - It's a fucking grill. With a boomerang for a controller. At least the games look amazing.
Xbox 360 - I like the design, I like the controller, and I want Gears of War so damn bad. UE3 is truly incredible. Also, according to microsoft its more powerful than the ps3, so we'll see how that pans out.
Revolution - Looks like a cable modem. I just wish they would have revealed more info than the backward compatiblity stuff.
Game of the show? Either Twilight Princess or Gears of War. Killzone looked pretty awesome, but it was all pre-rendered and not running on the actual hardware. I'm not going to be convinced until I sit down and play it and its not shit like the first game.
